Duck tours are a fun way of getting to know the downtown. Ducks (Dual Utility Combat Vehicles - DUCVs) were first introduced during the second world war to deliver troops from ships to enemy shores. These amphibious vehicles can run on both land and water without requiring any adjustments. Even today they run on the same engines & chassis all around the Boston downtown.
