Boston originally a province of the British empire was the place where the American Revolutionary War started. The Boston Tea Party (when the entire contents of 3 ships were dumped into the water) sparked off the revolution which soon engulfed the entire country. This revolution began in 1773 and was headed by one Samuel Adams. A beer by the same name (Samuel Adams) is very popular in Boston nowadays!
